Dignity Vending Machine Fundraiser - Help install and/or sustain a Dignity Vending Machine (DVM), provide Period Packs for DVM’ s and/or repairs and maintenance of DVM’s for lasting impact.
Terms & Conditions
Dignity Vending Machine Fundraiser (the Campaign) is a self-directed fundraising event or activity organised by a supporter to raise or collect funds (Fundraiser) for Share the Dignity Limited ACN 607 970 605 (Share the Dignity). Registered participants of the Dignity Vending Machine Fundraiser (Hosts) nominate their own type of Fundraiser, such as luncheons, raffles, charity days etc, (Activity) and then coordinate and execute that Activity in their own time and with their own equipment and facilities either within their business, community, workplace or school.
You (Participant) participate in the Fundraiser at your own risk.
Ticking "I have read and understand the contents of the Acknowledgement, Waiver & Release" on your registration form, signifies you have read this document, understand its contents and agree to be legally bound by it.
Participant requirements
The Participant acknowledges and agrees:
that they will not undertake activities which puts themselves at risk or in danger such as door knocking for collections.
Fundraiser Duration and Allocation of Funds
The Dignity Vending Machine Fundraiser is intended to run for a period of up to six (6) months from the date of registration. Extensions may be granted upon written approval by Share the Dignity Limited ACN 607 970 605 (Share the Dignity).
In the event that the full fundraising target is not met within the designated timeframe:
All funds raised will be allocated toward the stocking of period packs and/or repairs and maintenance costs for a community-based Dignity Vending Machine, selected at the discretion of Share the Dignity; or
The registered site may opt to receive a non-powered dispenser and period pack stock equivalent to the value of funds raised, subject to approval and availability.
By registering for the Dignity Vending Machine Fundraiser, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to these terms regarding the duration and allocation of funds. Share the Dignity reserves the right to make final decisions on fund use in alignment with its mission and operational priorities.
- Fundraising Purpose & Options
Participants may choose to:
- Fundraise for the installation of a DVM at a specific or Share the Dignity-selected site.
- Fundraise for Period Packs to stock existing DVMs.
- Fundraise for or donate toward repairs and maintenance of DVMs.
- Make a direct donation (one-off or recurring) toward any of the above.
- DVM Fundraising Models
Participants may select from the following fundraising models:
Option 1 – All-Inclusive Upfront
- Fundraising Target: $26,000 (incl. GST)
- Inclusions: 4-year lease, unlimited Period Pack stock, full technical maintenance and support.
Option 2 – Upfront + Annual Contribution
- Initial Fundraising Target: $11,000 (incl. GST)
- Ongoing Support: $5,000 per year for the following 3 years, to be covered by the host site or Share the Dignity through combined fundraising efforts.
- Total Value: $26,000 over 4 years.
Option 3 – Upfront + Pay-As-You-Go Stock
- Initial Fundraising Target: $11,000 (incl. GST)
- Ongoing Stock: Period Packs to be purchased as needed at $575 per carton by the host site.
Option 4 – Choose Your Own Amount
- All donations made under this option will be allocated to support the installation, repair, and maintenance of Dignity Vending Machines, as well as the provision of period packs. Funds will be managed and distributed at the discretion of Share the Dignity, in accordance with organisational priorities and needs.
- Standard Inclusions for All DVM Installations
All DVM fundraising models include:
- Supply, Installation and setup
- 400 Period Packs upon installation
- Telemetry monitoring (for usage, stock levels, and technical alerts)
- Promotional materials to support community engagement
- Site Suitability & Approval
Site Eligibility Criteria for Dignity Vending Machine (DVM) Installation
All proposed installation sites must undergo a comprehensive suitability assessment conducted by Share the Dignity. This assessment includes, but is not limited to, the following requirements:
- Availability of a General Power Outlet (GPO) within 1.5 metres of the proposed installation point
- Adequate wall support to ensure safe and secure installation
- Ongoing commitment from the site to support and maintain the DVM
- Accessibility and usage by community members
Please note: Sites that are not accessed or used by the general community are not eligible for installation. This includes private business locations where access is restricted to employees or internal stakeholders only. The DVMs are intended to serve the broader community, and therefore must be placed in locations that are publicly accessible and regularly used by community members
For all sites where ongoing stock purchases are required (e.g., under Options 2 & 3), a Supply Agreement and/or MOU will be required. This agreement is a condition of installation and ensures the site’s commitment to maintaining access to free period products.
Liability, release and indemnity
The Participant:
1 .RELEASES AND DISCHARGES Share the Dignity, its directors, staff, contractors and volunteers, and all State, Federal and Local Government authorities with responsibility for the locality in which the Activity may be staged and their respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents and volunteers (the Indemnified Parties) from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft and all other loss or injury whatever and however occurring which the Participant may suffer as a result of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, their participation in the Fundraiser;
2.WAIVES all and any claims against the Indemnified Parties which, but for this Acknowledgement Waiver and Release, they may have had against the Indemnified Parties or any of them; and
3.INDEMNIFIES AND HOLDS HARMLESS the Indemnified Parties from any and all liabilities, claims or actions (including negligence, breach of contract, and/or breach of statute) whatever or however caused which may be brought against them or any of them arising as a result of or in connection with, directly or indirectly, the participation in the Fundraiser, including any claim by the Participant.
Privacy and intellectual property
By registering for the Event, you agree to grant Share the Dignity the right to:
- record, film, photograph, or capture the Participant's likeness in any media now available and to distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use such photograph, video, film, likeness or other media, in perpetuity, for any legitimate purpose of Share the Dignity; and
- share, copy, and use any of your (or the Participant's, if you are authorising a minor) publicly available social media content tagging the Event or Share the Dignity (Participant Content) on Share the Dignity's own social media pages and other marketing material, without any further approval from you or any payment to you.
You warrant that:
- the Participant Content does not infringe the rights of any person (including intellectual property rights); and
- where Participant Content includes personal information, or an image or video of another person, you have first obtained that person's consent (or parent's consent, if the person is under the age of 18) before posting, or otherwise providing Share the Dignity with, the Participant Content.
I acknowledge that I have READ AND UNDERSTAND the contents of the Terms and Conditions and AGREE TO BE BOUND by it.
I warrant that I have full and complete authority to execute this as a binding and enforceable document and I release and indemnify Share the Dignity and all other Indemnities Parties identified in the Terms and Conditions against any claim, liability, loss or damage arising out of the participation in the Fundraiser;
I am at least 18 years of age, or I am a parent or guardian of the Participant under the age of 18 years; and
I have read and agree to the Share the Dignity Privacy Policy
I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions and have conveyed its consents to the Host
