I'm supporting Share the Dignity's #ItsInTheBag
This Christmas, Independent Nurses Australia (INA) is bringing our community together for an online packing party, supporting Share the Dignity’s annual It’s in the Bag appeal.
Bo is getting things started with a donation, and we’re inviting our team, followers, families and local businesses to get involved. Wherever you’re based, you can join us online and pack along from home—or gather a few friends or colleagues and put a bag together.
Each bag contains everyday essentials, including toiletries and period products, with the option to add a thoughtful gift or handwritten message. These bags bring practical support and a little kindness to women and girls experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or doing it tough over Christmas.
INA won’t be collecting bags. Everyone taking part will need to drop their completed bags at an official collection point local to them during the appeal’s collection period. We’ll share the official drop-off information to help you find yours.
You’re welcome to pack a bag, join our fundraising team, or make a donation through this page directly to Share the Dignity. Sharing the appeal with others is another way to help.

Share the Dignity works to end period poverty across Australia, distributing period products and essential items to people who need them. We’re proud to bring the INA community together in support of their work.

We’re bringing the INA community together to support Share the Dignity’s It’s in the Bag Christmas appeal, and we’d love you to join us!
Everyone deserves care, dignity and kindness. This appeal is an opportunity to help provide everyday essentials and thoughtful extras for women and girls experiencing homelessness, domestic violence or hardship.
Our packing party is happening online, so you can take part wherever you are!
You can pack a bag at home, team up with a friend or get your workplace involved.
Once your bag is ready, take it to your local Bunnings collection point between 6 and 22 November 2026. Everyone will organise their own local drop-off.
If packing a bag isn’t possible, you can also contribute through this fundraising page or help spread the word by sharing it.
We’ll be sharing packing ideas and updates here as we go, and we’d love to see what you’re putting together too!
