Get around the brook and support Share The Dignity
Supporting Share the Dignity: "It’s in the Bag" Christmas Appeal
This November, Cranbrook School is coming together to support Share the Dignity, an Australian charity dedicated to helping women, girls, and mothers who are experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough.
We are collecting essential items and bags to put together special Christmas gifts for those in need in our community.
🎒 How You Can Help
We are collecting donations to build three types of bags: Adult, Teen, and Mum & Bub. You can donate individual items, complete packed bags, or any preloved handbags, backpacks, or nappy bags in good condition.
1. The Essentials (Must be brand new and sealed)
- For Everyone: Pads, tampons, period underwear, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, roll-on deodorant, and soap/body wash.
- For Mum & Bub: Maternity period products, newborn nappies, breast pads, baby shampoo, baby soap/wash, disposable nappy bags, baby wipes, dummies, and nappy rash cream.
2. Luxury Extras (To brighten their Christmas Day)
Consider adding small gifts like hair scrunchies, lip gloss, makeup, stationery, journals, or a handwritten "Dear Her" note.
📍 Drop-Off Details
Please bring all donation items to school and drop them off directly at the designated collection point either in your house area or in the staff room.
Thank you for your incredible generosity in helping us bring dignity and hope to women in crisis this festive season!
